History of College

It goes back to 1964 when late Rameshwar Prasad Verma, laid key keystone of An Educational Institution in his native village Sadarpur, Hardoi. As an Educationist, His Chief concern was to divert rural folk from the darkness of ignorance to the light of knowledge. Thus he planted the garden of the goddess Saraswati. To spread the light of knowledge in rural and rustic areas, and also to pay his special tribute to the great personality Pt. Nehru, the first prime minister of India. As Nehru passed away in that very year on 27 May 1964. To commemorate that personality the institution was opened and named after his name.

The institution was started as a junior school in 1964. But shortly it got recognition in High School and Intermediate classes from U.P. Board Allahabad in 1969 and 1971 respectively. From its very inception, it advanced towards the path of progress and in a very short time, it became popular all over the district.

At Present the institution is well-equipped with all the major faculties. Literary, Science, Agriculture and commerce including Vocational classes with two trades Shorthand and R.T.V. It is well equipped with all Science and Computer Labs. It has twenty well-electrified teaching rooms covered with CCTV cameras for safety, and security. It has a large post creation of 40post including lecturers, L’t grades, clerks and m.t.w. e.t.c thus it has a sound physical phase with a sound academic environment efficiently managed and Smoothly run by Dr. Arvind Singh, the worthy son of the founder manager Late Rameswar Prasad Verma.
